How do I receive my license key after purchase?

Your license key will be sent automatically to the email address used during checkout within minutes of your purchase. Please check your spam folder if it does not arrive promptly.

How many computers can I use my license on?

The standard LightBurn license allows for installation and activation on up to two computers simultaneously. If you need to move a license to a new machine, you can deactivate an old one through the software.

Do I have to pay a monthly subscription fee?

No. LightBurn is a one-time purchase. The license is perpetual, meaning the version you buy will work forever. You receive one year of free updates; after that, you can choose to renew your update maintenance for another year.

What is your refund policy for software?

We offer a 30-day free trial so you can test the software with your hardware before buying. Because of this trial period, we generally do not offer refunds once a license key has been issued and activated.

Is my laser hardware compatible with LightBurn?

LightBurn supports most GCode, Ruida, Trocen, and TopWisdom controllers. We recommend downloading the free trial to confirm communication with your specific laser model before purchasing.

Can I upgrade my license later?

Yes. If you start with a GCode license and later purchase a DSP-based laser, you can pay the price difference to upgrade your existing license key through our store.
